Bosch-FHP Geothermal CL/RL Model - Commercial
The Bosch CL and RL models are essentially the same. This unit has a small footprint and is commonly installed in apartment/condo buildings, and/or commercial buildings. This unit comes with a commercial warranty of 5ys on the compressor, and 1yr on other parts. This unit does not qualify for the 30% Federal Energy Tax Credit.
The RL unit is sold under a 'residential' banner. The CL is sold under the commercial banner.
The difference between the two:
"RL" has a 75va transformer and a DuoGuard air coil as standard. The only factory option is a choice between a copper or cupro-nickel water coil.
"CL" has a 50va transformer and an uncoated air coil as standard. There will be an "FHP" logo on the outside of the cabinet (see picture below). There are numerous factory options, see below for a list.
